This is a powerful metaphor for the modern spiritual journey \u2014 people awaken not because they know where they are going, but because they can no longer stay where they are.<\/p><p>The Dragonfly Garden is a realm of dreams, the unconscious, and deeper truth \u2014 a place entered only by the soul\u2019s invitation, which gives its role in the story clear meaning. Together with its guardian, it leads Irene to unexplored boundaries. In many cultures, the dragonfly symbolizes change, light, enlightenment, and liberation from illusions. Thus, in the story, it is not merely a mythical creature but the personification of inner truth \u2014 the dragonfly knows the answers that Irene already carries within herself but has not yet learned to express, carefully guiding her toward them. However, every true desire \u2014 whether for love, art, career, or self-discovery \u2014 carries a price. Are you ready to pay the price of your desire? is the key question the dragonfly asks Irene. Sometimes, the price is leaving behind the old self, misunderstanding by others, fear of failure, or loss of comfort. Here, the dragonfly does not act as a magician granting wishes but as a teacher who helps make those wishes conscious, examined, and accepted responsibly.
